The Federated States of Africa was formed during the height of World War III when the Union of Islam Republics and the New Uganda Republic invaded African nations. The rest have united together with South Africa as the first member nation and merged their militaries to retake nations from the UIR and Uganda.
After the war, the rest of Africa became part of the superpower nation, with Uganda and Libya under occupation. The Federated States of Africa became allies with the United European Federation, Russia, the United Republic of China and the United States of America into helping on reconstruction and to putting research in Terraforming and Colonizing of other planets in Outer Space.
